These pants were purchased directly from the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. They are authenticated by MLB as “team issued” as they do with most items. Any item that isn’t directly handed to them from the player from the field is listed as team issued. Many times things are used throughout the season and hung in a locker and therefore labeled as team issued rather than used. These pants were definitely worn by Yadier Molina in a game though during the 2019 season. You can see dirt and wear throughout the pants. The cuffs at the bottom are also very torn up as would be expected by a catcher. When determining usage, people will typically look at the wash tag on the inside of the pants.
