    Description

    This is a vintage Native American/Southwestern coil wicker basket.
    Southwestern, made in the 1960s.
    I have many people telling me that these are Mexican; however, I know that these were purchased on a reservation by my in-laws in the late 1960s in either New Mexico or Arizona. Therefore, I don't believe they are Mexican as I can't imagine a Native American selling Mexican baskets. But, you be the judge.
    Some MINOR damage, fraying, especially on lid, see photos carefully. You are getting what is photographed.
    Still very sturdy.
    Includes original domed lid and attached handle.
    9" bottom diameter.
    10" tall including handle.
    Some fading of pink coloring, but was originally light pink, NOT bright pink.
