Extra finely woven BASKET FROM THE NORTHWEST COAST OF WASHINGTON. Generically referred to as a Makah , it has a much different start from a Makah in terms of materials and construction and looks to be Quilliute or Hoh. BASKET IN EXCELLENT CLEAN CONDITION with a pictorial design. Made of twined sea grass and aniline dyed it has a bit finer weave than many we see. One of the birds must have been exposed to some sunlight which has faded it a bit. Suitable for a nice gift for yourself or a loved one, and it has a LOW PRICE and NO RESERVE !
