Tall German “Vater Unser” Beer Stein Lord’sPrayer Reinhold Merkelbach #1624

The perfect item for German fest, Oktoberfest or just to decorate your fireplace mantle, this vintage RM (Reinhold Merkelbach), tall, ceramic & Pewter, German “Vater Unser” Beer Stein with Pewter Lid is it! In raised relief you will find The Lord’s Prayer (Vater Unser) written in German (written in Martin Luther’s version) going from the mouth of the Stein down to its base.
# 1624 and made in Western Germany and is in excellent condition. It is about 14 1/2 inches tall and has a 4 inch base. It weighs about 3 pounds. I don’t believe it was ever used. It has no chips or scratches or marks of any kind on either the pottery or the pewter lid.
The pewter handle holds securely and does not slip down by itself. You will be amazed by the high quality of this item.
