These pants were used by Cardinals first baseman, Paul Goldschmidt during the 2020 pandemic season. The pants are completely destroyed by usage. They are a very unique piece from a part of baseball history. The pants are only authenticated as team issued, but all you have to do is see them to tell they are more than issued. MLB only authenticates items are “game used” if they are handed to them directly from the field. Many players reuse equipment, so they end up sitting in their locker or in the clubhouse.
