Large Matthia's Girmscheid German Stein

Description

This stein is a large 19" and in great shape. The bottom is 6.5"in diameter,it is 8" wide to handle and 4.5" at the top. Other then some rubbing,as seen in #10 photo,this piece is in excellent condition Nice heavy pottery,with pictures  done in medevial style. The lid is sound and the wording is all in German,probably telling a story of the knight on the lid. Great addition,to a collection.#942 in the beer stein library of Girmscheid.The knight and squire.Unlike the others that have all metal tops,this has a pottery top,which I find more unique
