White home jersey of the Chandler Diamondbacks, worn in 1994 by Jason Christiansen of the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Condition as described elsewhere in this listing and shown in photos.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Jason Christiansen was signed to pitch as an undrafted free agent in 1991 and first reached the Major League team in 1995. He continued to pitch in the Pirates organization until 2000, when he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals midway through the season. Christiansen subsequently pitched for the San Francisco Giants and for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Christiansen received national attention in 2005, while playing for the Giants, due to his heated rivalry with teammate Barry Bonds, as documented in the 2006 book 'Game of Shadows'.
