    Description

    The Hog 4 HPU from High End Systems is a full lighting control console in a 2U 19" rack mount with 64 Universes (32768 Channels) of DMX, sACN, or ArtNet with
    Hog 4 data processing
    . It's a console without the interface (or the price!) and works great as a lighting show server. The HPU allows you to easily run playback of a programmed show, serves as a backup to your main console, or expands the amount your other consoles can process. Or, pair it with a programming interface like the Hoglet 4 or a Programming Wing to build yourself a 64 universe Hog 4 console in a rack case or a cart.
    This unit was manufactured 10/27/20, and I ordered it on 11/2/20. It's been used in two racks - intermittent use for additional lights on one feature film, and then used as a backup server for 18 weeks on a TV show.
    Another unit will become available next week when the show wraps. I will post it then. Please let me know if you'd like to purchase both - I am happy to add the second listing early if you don't mind waiting a week until it can be shipped.
    Reason for sale is downsizing my personal inventory to take a step back from full-time work on shows. Having some health problems and unable to continue working full time on set. If I was still going to be working on jobs I could bring this onto, I would absolutely keep it. I'd rather see somebody else make great things with it than see it sit on my shelf.
    It is in great working condition, with only minor cosmetic signs of use, and comes with all original accessories:
    - locking IEC power cable;
    - rack mounting hardware;
    - keyboard;
    - mouse;
    - console recovery USB's;
    - contact trigger ports (not yet implemented by manufacturer);
    - original packaging;
    - manufacturer inspection certificate.
    I wiped the hard drive and installed 3.14 software from original recovery USB; also cleaned dust cover and fans from outside computer without removing any paneling or opening the case.
    Buyer pays shipping or picks up in Chicago, IL. (It's not letting me select Offer Local Pickup but feel free to message me and I am able to accommodate.)
    I'm happy to offer repair, replacement, or return if the board arrives to you not in working order, if you tell me it's not working within 15 days of receiving it. Cosmetically, the item is sold in the used condition shown in the listing's pictures, and I can't pay for repairs or allow returns or replacements for any cosmetic issues that don't impact how well the product does its job. I'm just one lighting console programmer selling tools I personally used, not a company selling rental or new inventory.
