Game-worn 1999 SF Giants Jay Canizaro road jersey, sz 46, w/Cert of Authenticity

A beautiful, Game-worn, 1999 SF Giants Jay Canizaro #18, size 46, road jersey with a Certificate of Authenticity from the San Francisco Giants (dated March 12, 2004). Jay Canizaro was a second and third baseman, as well as a shortstop, for the Giants in both 1996 and 1999. He wore #18 in '99 and #36 in '96. He then played two years for the Minnesota Twins before hanging 'em up in 2002, after participating in 162 big league games. As Jay only played in 12 games in 1999, the jersey shows very minor signs of wear, but still presents evidence (a loose thread in two or three spots) of game use. The jersey was manufactured by Russell Athletic and, in addition to the Certificate of Authenticity, the inside of the shirt tail contains an indelible ink stamp that reads: "PURCHASED FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS."
