This auction is for a game-used Fort Myers Sun Sox 1990-91 SPBA baseball jersey worn by pitcher Steve McCatty, #54. The Sun Sox baseball team played in the brief-lived Senior Professional Baseball Association (1989-90 and 1990-91 seasons) a league of former/retired professional players that played during the Winter off-season.  Jersey is made by Speedline and is size 48. You can match jersey to his '90 Elite Senior League card. All logos and numbers sewn on. McCatty's name is sewn onto nameplate. Speedline patch on left sleeve and team logo patch on right sleeve. Jersey shows good use. Also has velcro sewn on both sides of shirt near bottom hem to help keep shirt tucked in during game. McCatty pitched 8 seasons with the Oakland A's and was Cy Young award runner-up in 1981. Has been a pitching coach for numerous teams including the 2009-15 Washington Nationals.
