    Description

    A very nice and quite old Native American basket from the West Coast (California, North West or Alaska). The basket features Firebird like figures in red and black.  The basket has an area of loss on the rim and the rim at some point was reinforced with a band of glue.   Measures 7 7/8" in diameter and is 3 1/4" tall. Please see the photos for details. A fine antique American Indian basket.
