    Description

Up for sale is this culturally used a
ntique Apache Indian burden basket, circa 1900. It m
easures aproximently 15" in diameter x 11" in height and is hand woven from willow and devil's claw. It has only one 2-1/4” area just under the rim with broken stitches that is not really noticeable (see photo). The white leather used on this basket is Native brain-tanned buckskin. It does have a piece of cloth covering the bottom of the basket under the buckskin that looks like it could have been replaced at one time. This basket was made in about 1900 and culturally used by Arizona Apache’s. I acquired the basket in Arizona from a private collection. It is in very good overall condition. I offer 30-day money back guarantee if you are not 100% satisfied. I will ship the item within two days of closing. Please include .00 for USPS
