Antique German Stein by Reinhold Merkelbach # 485

Description

The stein depicted in this auction was made by the Reinhold Merkelbach firm from Germany.  The stein is pottery and relief, the size is 0.5 L, with a unique pewter lid, finial and nice pewter thumb. The form number 485.  The stein is two tone in color and is called Renaissance Couple and Servant.  On the base is the RM mark in the star indicating the stein is from the period dated from 1882-1933.  This would make a fine addition to your unique stein collection.
