    1972 Luis Tiant Boston Red Sox Game Used worn issued Rookie Home Flannel Jersey #23.
    I obtained this in a trade a few years ago. On close inspection it appears there was a number change. Don’t know if it was team changed or restored. All original except for that. It’s Tagged correctly and Correct size for Tiant-44.
    The info I have is they wore the flannels for half of 1972 and then switched after the all-star break to knit pull overs.
    I think Tiant eventually gets in the HOF.
    No coa saying it was specifically Tiant’s- and with apparent number change- I’ll just sell as game issued.
